Lumina Mare rises 65 metres along Larnaca's seafront — a sculpted composition of 20 storeys holding just 54 residences, all beginning from the seventh level to capture uninterrupted Mediterranean views. Curated boutique retail anchors its base, six floors of parking sit beneath, and a façade designed to move with the light gives the tower its name — Lumina Mare, the lights of the sea.
The Vision
Inspired by Optical Art
Architect Eraclis Papachristou drew on Optical Art — and Bridget Riley's play of repetition and pattern — to give the façade rhythm and movement. As sunlight shifts and city lights emerge, the layered surfaces come alive; the inland face glows like a lantern at night. This dialogue between light and structure inspired the name Lumina Mare.
Every line, angle, and edge is intentional — balancing structure with openness, and presence with restraint.
